Fascinated by the stars among which the Earth navigates, Marin Montagut offers us two illustrations of geometric shapes representing celestial abstractions: the ARMILLARY SPHERE and the POLYHEDRON, in two variations, blue and red.
The POLYÈDRE BLEU decorative wall board is printed on a press in Paris, on rag paper made by hand in a mill in the south of France using 18th century techniques. The print is then colored with watercolors in Montmartre.
Limited series of 300 copies. Each plate is numbered.
Each painting is fixed on two wooden sticks which roll up on themselves like a parchment and close with a grosgrain ribbon in the manner of the handwritten cards of the time.
