Fascinated by the stars among which the Earth navigates, Marin Montagut offers us two illustrations of geometric shapes representing celestial abstractions: the ARMILLARY SPHERE and the POLYHEDRON, in two variations, blue and red.
The POLYÈDRE ROUGE decorative wall board is printed on a press in Paris, on rag paper made by hand in a mill in the south of France using 18th century techniques. The print is then colored with watercolors in the Parisian studio of Marin Montagut .
Limited series of 300 copies. Each plate is numbered.
Each painting is fixed on two wooden sticks which roll up on themselves like a parchment and close with a grosgrain ribbon in the manner of the handwritten cards of the time.
