Description
Marin Montagut was inspired by his favorite rose “Pierre de Ronsard” to create this illustration. From his garden in Normandy where he likes to admire his rose bushes, he wanted to immortalize one of these flowers which bears the name of the famous 16th century poet, Pierre de Ronsard. All associated with an imaginary card representing play and love.
Marin Montagut works on each of his tableware models, drawing inspiration from the French tableware of yesteryear. The tableware, of rare finesse, is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is made by hand, with the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are affixed in the workshops of Marin Montagut in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
This illustrated porcelain tray is dishwasher safe.
